1988 Bulova Oceanographer 200M Automatic - Stainless Steel Case & Bracelet

WHY IS THIS WATCH SPECIAL
We are happy to present this Bulova Oceanographer, this particular model is rarely seen, the reason is that it was produced only for a very short period of time; Between 1988 and 1992, and very few were manufactured.
Similar to the Submariners of the ‘80s and ‘90s, the Oceanographer really doesn’t hide its inspiration much, with even the name taking a cue from the nautical life.
The Oceanographer line from Bulova is one with a rich history of both design and application, especially when it comes to the famed Devil Diver (name attributed to its water resistance of 666 feet), and there are many modern and vintage iterations of these references.
This is a true tool-watch housing a Swiss Made automatic movement, with it's massive steel 'oyster' type steel bracelet, unidirectional diving bezel and saphire crystal.
The overal condition is very good.

During the first moonwalk, a Bulova timer was even placed in the sea of tranquility.
Reiterating its longstanding dedication to history of firsts, the Precisionist collection was introduced in 2010. Intricately styled and infinitely accurate, with a continuous sweeping second hand. Most recently in 2016, the brand (quite literally) changed the face of the industry with the Curv collection – the world’s first curved chronograph movement.

THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
This watch is in very good condition for its age. The impressive 37mm Stainless Steel case is extremely well preserved. The black unrefinished dial is great.
This is a nice and scarce vintage watch featuring a useful rotating bezel.
It has a cool presence on the wrist an can be worn daily.
